Confirmed from Coeur d'Alene Parkway State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Paved hike-and-bike route along the north shore of Lake Coeur d'Alene featuring picnic spots.
What runners say about Coeur d'Alene Parkway State Park
“Beautiful scenery from the water, even during the summer fire season bringing in the smoke from surrounding forest fires.”
Easy small hike with great lake views. We did just a portion of it, but I think it was the best portion of it since it's a really good opening to the lake. After this viewpoint, you start seeing a lot of trees on the trail, so I'm not sure how the view is from there.
Parking, boat launch, educational installations. I parked here and enjoyed the short hike to Higgins point. Several displays discuss the wildlife in the area. Beautiful views anytime of day but magical around sunset. Drive, bike, walk or run, but make your way here.
A beautiful and amazing place! Absolutely pristine park for anyone that loves getting out in nature, hiking, bird watching and everything else outdoors.
Beautiful scenery next to the lake. Great for walking on a paved path with places to sit and eat. Bird watching and eagle sightings can occur.
