Confirmed from College View Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Spacious park featuring grassy lawns for soccer and games, plus dog runs, playgrounds, barbeques and a zip-line.
What runners say about College View Park
“Great little dog park with multiple poop stations, water with bowls and plenty of shade.”
Happy Dog Agility is hosting a competition this Saturday & Sunday. This park isn't that large but it has lots of shade trees around the park. There's also a smallish fenced dog park with separate small & large dog areas. If you've never seen dog agility competitions, it's a really fun thing to watch.
A great place to bring your family. It has a small fenced area to let your dogs run around. Also, it is located across the road from a small shopping center.
Nice little dog park made out of Decomposed Granite...If your dogs are big runners I would suggest going to Simi Valley dog park..
Open space with grass and trees. Dog run area. Full size basketball court. Kids playground. One Pokémon Gym and four PokeStops.
Trail conditions & character
“There are a variety of activities that one can enjoy here: basketball, dog park, children's playground, picnic and bbq.”
“Plus, there is a restroom here unlike some of the new community parks that forget to include this necessary feature.”
“Great little dog park with multiple poop stations, water with bowls and plenty of shade.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
