Confirmed from Monte Vista Nature Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Cacti-filled park with panoramic views from a small hilltop trail suitable for kids.
What runners say about Monte Vista Nature Park
“one of many beautiful parks, guess that's why they call the town Moor-park”
It's a very small trail located on a hill surrounded on all sides by neighborhoods. That said it's pretty, LOTS of cactus plants, trees for shade and a pretty view from the top. I love taking my dog there when we need a quick hike
It's very scenic great wildlife And you can even taste some cactus fruit
It is a nice hill with a view. Good place for a 30 min hike at sunset.
Great view. It's a nature park that is dog friendly and ends up on top of the hill with a 360 degree view of Moorpark.
