Confirmed from Collins Lot, Harold Parker State Forest's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Collins Lot, Harold Parker State Forest

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (25 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

Love this trails. So much fun with my husband and my best friend's family.

★★★★★ — Thanarat , Feb 2023

We did 3 miles in 1 hour and 20 minutes. We parked in a small parking area near a boat ramp. An easy trail that's not marked well but easily identified. Mostly wide meandering trails that basically follow the shoreline of Field Pond and what seems like some backyards. Lots of beaver activity throughout the forest.

★★★★★ — Joseph , Mar 2024

The forest is very well kept with lots of options when it comes to trails. They have plenty of easy flatter loops and more hilly loops for you to enjoy the forest terrain.

★★★★☆ — Valeria , Sep 2025

The red trail was about 2 miles and it was very well marked. A perfect nature walk with the family!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
