We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Goldsmith Woodlands yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What a terrific way to spend a hot summer day. On a shady trail then sitting by the pond.

★★★★★ — Daniel , Jul 2024

Nice wide trail to hike with kids. A few spots with an elevation but an easy hike in general. The journey’s end trail takes you to Foster’s pond. The views are very nice. There is a bench to sit and enjoy the views and spend some time.

★★★★★ — Hari , Jul 2020

Great place with several nice view of Foste5s pond. Several trail options. A couple of hills, but nothing strenuous.

★★★★☆ — Fran , Aug 2023

Very nice walk. Go to Bessie's point and the aptly named Journey's end. The ridge trail is also very nice instead of the main trail, just on right as you enter the reservation.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 17 mentions

“Each trail has an unexpected view, or bench, or trees and plant lined paths and something to enjoy at every turn.”
