Confirmed from Colman Reservation's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Colman Reservation
“Beautiful place to bring kids or escape the world and enjoy nature”
I LOVE Colman Reservation. I grew up nearby and have been coming since I was a kid. Boardwalked paths through swampy areas, and a GIANT hemlock tree. Nice place to go for a little hike.
It's getting there! Maybe with some more popularity and upkeep it could be really really nice; for right now too bump y for bike or jog, good for dog walks and smoke spots.
This place was amazing! A beautiful indoor classroom with tanks of local animals. Fossils and bones and bugs oh my! They even have field guides, books, and stuffed animals. They had binoculars and snowshoes. There were binoculars setup indoors for observing when colit's cold.
Didn't realize what wonderful sanctuary and resource was right in my own town. Attended a birthday party there and my 8yr old had the best time ever. Nature hikes, walking trails, bird watching, nature center, nice little gift shop with VERY reasonably prices and great employees. I was very impressed.
