Confirmed from Comanche Lookout Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic park with a vantage point, playground, picnicking areas & trails for hiking.

I love this place. Hard to believe I lived in San Antonio for a long time and only found this place while living in McQueeney. The trails are a perfect mix of paved and gravel with little bonus deer trails. There’s picnic tables a pavilion and a playground down the library trail for the kiddos.
Comanche Lookout Park is an absolute gem! The park offers 4.55 miles of well-maintained paved and unpaved trails, catering to various fitness levels with easy to moderate difficulty. I enjoyed a great workout while taking in the beautiful natural surroundings.
A very nice short trail that leads to a great view! I would recommend this trail to anyone starting out hiking and anyone who wants to see a up too view. They have 3 levels of difficulty. The restrooms here are a port-a-potty. The hike goes up so expect uphill walking but the easiest difficulty makes it a breeze.
And incredible ppark with incredible views!! This park is exceptionally easy to traverse. To get from top to bottom can be as quick as 15 minutes if youre taking your time. Its well paved and well worth it for literally anyone. Old, young, fit and unfit can all enjoy this park to the max.
