Confirmed from Community Field's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Green space featuring a playground, splash pad, and picnic tables, plus trails and a dog park.
What runners say about Community Field
“I've always loved coming to this park so is clean the bathrooms are always in working order And there's flowers everywhere around this time of year”
“Great playground with climbing structures for kids of all ages, including a small area with a big plastic tree that kids 4 and under can play in and around.”
“There is a separate dog park & nice walking paths, trails, & a big field.”
Large playground with an area for older kids and an area for younger kids. Plenty of slides and areas to climb and run. 5 total swings, 2 of them being for toddlers. Large open field to run around and play sports, with two large hills to sled down in winter.
I love this park, they have three separate structures/areas to accommodate children of all ages. They even have a swing for handicap children. They have bathrooms that are close by and easy to find, and lots of walking and hiking trails nearby. There really is something for everyone.
They have an amazing park great for all ages. This place can work as a place to walk or jog as well. The only thing I would improve is the splash park. There’s only one spring of water. Adding more would make the park much better.
Not particularly a review on the field itself, but that's where I parked to go up into the trail system, which isn't particularly marked, but nonetheless easy to follow, with some pretty cool views of the water, tower thing, and highway overlooks 😎👍🐶👍

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
