Confirmed from Como Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Always love coming to this park! Grew up down the road and basically lived here in my adolescent years! Beautiful park with trails, creek access, dog park, sledding hill, ice skating rink and casino to warm up, basketball and tennis courts, some outdoor fireplaces in the open pavillions.

It's late afternoon, a couple of days after Christmas; we've just had our first big lake snow of the season. I'm at Como Lake Park with my new cross-country skis. The trails here haven't been groomed yet, but that's okay. I'm half making my own, half following the tracks of other skiers who were here earlier.

Como Lake Park is a beautiful park In Erie County, New York State. The park is about 500 acres and located in Cayuga Creek in both the village and town of Lancaster . It is around 15 miles from Buffalo city. The park includes nature trails, very good picnic shelters , Tennis courts, soccer field and basketball courts.

★★★★★ — Shivakumar , Jun 2020

This is a very nice park. We have been coming to this park since we were children. We had many family reunions at this park. The shelters are very dated and some of them look like they are on the verge of falling over which could pose a safety risk, and the tables have seen better days as well as the grills.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
