Confirmed from Conestoga Greenway Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Riverside path for strolling alongside housing and apartments, as well as biking.

I frequently run through the trail to get to county park from downtown. The surface is always clean. It's a short, paved trail next to the river.
Nice walking "trail". If like me you're looking for a trail in the woods this is not it. The path is paved. One one side of the trail there's a beautiful river. On the other side is the road and apartment buildings. I was disappointed and go all the way around.
Here's a rewritten review of the walking trail: This is a beautiful, clean walking trail that's perfect for a family outing. It wasn't crowded on a Sunday afternoon – we saw just a few runners, bikers, and dog walkers. We enjoyed listening to the birds chirping throughout our walk.
I love the Greenway Trail for biking and walking. It's beautiful and you can go over to County Park via the trail.

“Not a long hike, they way is paved and you can take your dogs.”
“Only about a mile long but good for quick dog walks and people who can't do much walking or hiking but like to stroll in the outside.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
