Confirmed from Windolph Landing Nature Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Windolph Landing Nature Preserve
“Beautiful walk along the water, although I was hoping the trail continued on longer but it's definitely worth it!”
A very beautiful place to go for an easy and relaxing hike. A must see nature trail 👣.
Pretty trail with a nice quick jaunt down to a creek… not quite a mile loop. Enough parking for 4-5 cars.
Steeper than many of the other reviews let on. Also multiple signs throughout the trail warning of yellow jacket ground nests. I took my 5 year old and was only worried about him leading the way at 1 point towards the end (we took the left path and came up the right) where the path is really narrow and slants towards…
Nice small trail that takes you along the Conestoga river. Went in early spring and there were many flowers in bloom.
Trail conditions & character
“There is a short steep section you will need to walk down and up.”
“Beautiful walk along the water, although I was hoping the trail continued on longer but it's definitely worth it!”
