Confirmed from Greater Lancaster Heritage Pathway's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Greater Lancaster Heritage Pathway
Short but beautiful walking/running/biking trail. About 1 mile long. Parking area with portable bathroom at one end, no designated parking at the other. Slight hills, winding path along developments and a quiet road. Wildflowers and birds along it.
I uploaded an amended map to show the location of the West Trail head at Oak Grove Drive. 40.054725 -76.264804. There is no parking at that location. Lots of bluebirds at the east trailhead. A Tree line on the northwest side of Walnut street will provide some nice Fall color.
Great little stretch of mixed-use path, absolutely cannot wait to see this pathway expanded!
A straight nice path with nice views and birds. Nice spot for a quick walk
