Confirmed from Converse City Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Open space with cycling/walking paths, a playground, ball fields, a pond & BBQ areas.
What runners say about Converse City Park
“Catch and release but fun, so clean and 3 different play areas.”
Our grandkids loved the unique features at this park. The playground had "fossils" on the climbing area, and there was a walking track through a wooded area next to the playground. There were several pieces of workout equipment, including an elliptical, that they loved doing, too. Overall a great park.
No bad of a place... Good place to hike and to take family pictures and fishing.
We love this city so much! Getting into all of the areas of the park using Google maps is like finding your way into an enchanted forest, though. Lol (for someone who's bad at directions like me) You may get into the baseball field, and you may get into the swimming pool area, but how you'll ever get to the actual…
Awesome pond to walk around and relax. The restrooms were clean but near the playground. No restrooms near pond area. It would be nice if they had portables for those picnicking by the water. There was an exercise area that is covered. Lots to do here
Trail conditions & character
“This place is dog friendly but bring your own poop bags JIC.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
