Confirmed from Coolidge Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Coolidge Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (662 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 6 mentions

“The walking and running path is well-kept and perfect for getting some fresh air.”

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Coolidge Park is a great spot for all ages.”

There is always a lot happening at this park in spring and fall especially! Catch a street hockey game or a softball or baseball game - both youth and adult leagues for all sports! There are two decent volleyball nets/areas set up too! Youth soccer is in full swing as well!

This is such a nice park all around. Playground, dog park, the trails, the hockey arena's, the pool (when it's opened).. it's always a nice experience when we come here..

★★★★★ — Samantha , Jun 2019

Nice little spot. Note that playground is not fenced in, parking lot on 2 corners of place. So some distance from parking. Can do a walk around of land,by dog park, towards soccer parks etc. There is a free little give and take there. Likea free little library. There was some adult books and comics in there.

★★★★★ — Sarah , Sep 2021

The path is great for walking/running. The playground is great for kids. If your lucky, you'll catch a sports game going on when the weather/season are good. There's a river along one side of the path that adds a natural serenity to the surroundings.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 24 mentions

“There is a dog park onsite - it's next to the playground with separate large and small dog sections.”

Plan your run at Coolidge Park

The practical stuff

  • AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
