Confirmed from Cornelia & Florence Bridge Nature Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Cornelia & Florence Bridge Nature Preserve

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (48 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 6 mentions

“Awesome place, clean and love what they have created here.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 6 mentions

“Beautiful walk on the Cornelia trail and back using the may loop trail.”

🐕 dog-walking favorite 5 mentions

“The trail is easy to walk and dog friendly, with multiple dog waste bag dispensers.”

Beautiful preserve with main trail that's well taken care of. Side trails offer a good work out and tougher terrain. One huge note of caution: while exiting the main trail by the parking lot, into the woods was a very large timber rattlesnake eating a very large gartersnake.

★★★★★ — Ann , May 2021

Beautiful walk on the Cornelia trail and back using the may loop trail. Pet friendly, must be on leash. We stopped by early Saturday morning and there were only two other vehicles in the parking lot. Heard a lot of birdsong and the trees and plant life were thriving. Definitely coming back for a look in fall.

I felt like I was walking down the yellow brick road trying to find the great and powerful Oz. In the beginning of the walk there are little signs telling you the names of the different trees and brush. At the top of the hill you come to a covered pavilion and bathrooms.

★★★★★ — Mary , Mar 2022

Beautiful trail with multiple different paths that vary in terrain. The trail is well shaded with an open grassy area next to the terrace and bathroom. The trail is easy to walk and dog friendly, with multiple dog waste bag dispensers.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
