Confirmed from Cornell Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Cornell Park
Cornell Park is a 3.35 acre passive park located north of Lake Ida Road and west of Swinton, at the corner of Northwest Ninth Street and Northwest Fourth Avenue in Delray Beach. It doesn't have a parking lot but you can just pull over on the side of the road.
Very nice park in a great neighborhood. Was there for a Community Greening tree planting event. Looking forward to the shade along the paths these pines will provide in the future!
Delray Beach did a good job reserving this as a green space and ensuring that this part of the city has good drainage and buffer to keep the neighborhood in good shape and limit sprawl. This is a large park but it's quite passive.
A little place to walk the dogs or to see some birds spending time in Old large pine trees.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
