Confirmed from Cottonwood Canyon's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic, linear park featuring paved pathways for walking & running, plus a BBQ/picnic shelter.
What runners say about Cottonwood Canyon
“Quiet, very clean well maintained, nice landscaping views, paved walking trails, picnic table areas with BBQ Grills and playground areas.”
“Cottonwood Canyon Trail, is Las Vegas (Summerlins) best keep secret, it's one of many parks hidden behind the main streets and it is gorgeous.”
“Nice park with unexpected large, shady grassy field.”

This park can be hard to see from the street and parking can get very tight. It is located next to and in the back of a medical building. It's a very relaxing place to take a long walk. You will see lots of joggers, dog walkers, strollers. I noticed there are lots of birds chirping about.
Lots of walking paths. 3 pretty big green grass areas. Fun to see all the rabbits along the trails. The only downside is the parking is a little far from the main park area.
Nice park with unexpected large, shady grassy field. Nice to sit under shade. Docking a point because google maps directions will lead you to a locked gate and you’ll have to walk around through Costco parking lot to get to it.
A beautiful spot to walk your pups, but if you want to find the parking lot, search for Desert Park.
