Confirmed from Hualapai Canyon's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxing park featuring cactuses, wildlife and paved trails for walking, dog-walking and rollerblading.
What runners say about Hualapai Canyon
“Very quiet trail, well maintained with hints of wildlife.”
“The views of Red Rock Canyon to west and the strip to the east are stunning!”
“Very few shade structures on trail, so in the summer months it is too hot to walk my dog there, but the remaining 3 seasons are very pleasant.”
Love this park/trail! Lots of vegetation & wildlife, and very well kept. My only complaint is during the summer months (June, July, August and even September) the trail should be opened earlier, as it gets very hot, very early!
Beautiful just long enough but short enough walking trail! Perfect for my kids who needed a break from downtown Las Vegas but were tired of walking so much haha. We found lots of lizards and gorgeous wildlife. The people we passed were so friendly and kind as well.
Infinitely better now that there are restrooms and a water fountain. Very quiet trail, well maintained with hints of wildlife. 100% desert vegetation and sand/rock landscape, no grassy areas. Nestled between a subdivision, golf course and ravine.
Sweet sidewalk-like trail through fields of cactuses, flowers, and other low lying desert plants. It is clean and nice, but nothing too special. Nice for an easy stroll. There are a few parking spots by the entrance as well.

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
