Confirmed from Covered Bridge Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Most bridges are built to cross water but in Parkland you can find one sitting on a dry land in the middle of a park. In the 1980's when the Oriole Homes Corporation was developing the Country Place residential community on the north side of Holmberg Road in Parkland they offered to buy something to decorate the park…

This is a lovely park! There are a few walkways with benches to sit and water fountains along the way. The bridge is charming and sits between two canals. Nice spot for pictures. A paved shaded trail that is about a mile long connects Covered Bridge Park to the 6 Acre Wood Park.

★★★★★ — R , May 2023

This is a pretty nice little park with a shaded trail that connects to another park ( 6 acre woods park) . If you’re a fan of birding this place tends to have Red-bellied Woodpeckers. Also a nice place for pictures on a sunny day.

Cute little park with a covered bridge. I'm not sure how far the walking trail is but it does go all the way to the 6 acre wood park.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
