We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Crafton Hills Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Crafton Hills Trailhead
“Beautiful views of Yucaipa and Redlands valley once you get to the top.”
I've been coming here for the last year and half. Great place to hike and mountain bike. Beautiful views and wildlife. Always a lot of adventurers on the trails.
We LOVE these trails! This particular one has two options, you can stay on the “road”/walking trail or take the mountain trails that are very narrow and prickly but great for those that love a challenge! Lots of hills, crazy declines, lovely views, and like minded people along the way!
I love this trail. It is easy but a tiny bit slippery in spots so I use a walking stick. There is a bench to sit on at one point and it over looks Mentone/Redlands area.
Came up just after the rains from cyclone Hillary it was fresh and overcast perfect for hiking 🥾.
