Confirmed from Crahen Valley Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

I’ve walked a lot of parks in the area, but hadn’t yet trekked over to Crahen Valley Park until recently. There are several different paths to take that vary in length and difficulty, but most beginners will fare just fine. Crahen Valley Park is a perfect place for a solo or family walk. Highly recommend!

Wow! This is a beautiful park. It has a quarter mile paved loop around a large field, with picnic benches and benches, a grand view of the valley, and a neat wooden bridge.

Very nice and diverse park for hiking and enjoying the nature. Beside the paved routes with a beautiful lookout point, there is a trail down into The Valley where beautiful, different nature scenes can be experienced.

This is definitely my favorite hiking spot in grand rapids, if you park at the big lot on the corner of Crahen and Leonard you can walk straight towards the valley and you'll stumble on a trail that takes you into the valley. It's unmarked so it's fun to adventure with lots of little trails going around!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
