Confirmed from Crapo Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Crapo Park is not just beautiful to walk, but there are so many things to see and do. Great for a family outing, great for a date, great for daily exercise.

Beautiful park but i actually took the photos while in Dankwart park but they both are next to each other... great place to walk and do things

The wife and daughter were up visiting for a few days so figured we would find a few neat places to go. Crapo Park was really nice, very well maintained. It has a few hiking/walking trails. One of the trails has a spring coming out of a small cave.

The park is very enjoyable! We ha a great time walking around exploring, and driving through the park. We didn't see it on the map, but we ran across the Sacred Heart Cemetery. It appears to be a Catholic Cemetery. There were lots of statues and other honorary items about. There is even a small section from the 1860s!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says

  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
