We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Riverside Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic park that borders the Mississippi River and offers picnic areas, walkways and fishing.
What runners say about Riverside Park
“Great view of the Mississippi River with a nice walkway.”
It's a beautiful walk. Loved that I could get down to the water in one area. Nice little area to look out over the water. Plenty of picnic areas. Will go again.
Great park to see and spend up to a few hours just taking in the beauty if you really want as I did. Lots of history to be learned on the path about settlement west of the Mississippi River!
We had an enjoyable walk along the path and skipped rocks into the river. Nice place to walk and let boys be boys!
Short easy walk along the Mississippi River. Close to downtown, the boat ramp and the museum.
