Confirmed from Lear Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Spacious park offering acres of athletic fields, courts, playgrounds & picnic areas.
What runners say about Lear Park
“Well kept, large playground, and plenty of shade to keep cool; this park gets two thumbs up from me!”
“There is a wide variety of activities to choose between, from strolling the scenic sidewalks to treating your kids to a wet day at the splash pad.”
“It looks like pretty much everything there was donated, there are so many things to do and there are things for all ages!”
As an older person the walking trails are great, cool disc golf course and a small fishing pond with a dock. Beautiful sunsets and great location.
Beautiful park, excellent trails and playground goodies. There are Pavillions for birthday parties. Our family has been coming here for years!
Trail conditions & character
“Plenty of parking and regularly see police patrol the area making me feel safe.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
