Confirmed from Creekwood Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Creekwood Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (451 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 5 mentions

“Park was clean so it's nice to see that everyone follows the rule to pick up after their dog.”

🌳 shaded & cool 6 mentions

“This is a fine dog park with lots of parking, shade, and has lots of space even in the area for smaller dogs.”

🐕 dog-walking favorite 3 mentions

“They love it, the other dog owners are nice and friendly, and all of the dogs always have a blast running around, roughhousing, and being derps.”

We've been to a handful of dog parks and this one by far is my dogs favorite. He loves the huge yard to run in. It has some shade and also a hose for drinking water and buckets (though my dog likes.to try and swim in it lol). We enjoy bringing him there.

I was worried how much my fiancé and her dog might not like it, but it was absolutely perfect! The dog park has a lot of room to run around and play in, lot of spots to sit and relax and it's nice that there were dog fountains and other facilities looked nice!

It’s always fun to take my dogs to this dog park. They love it, the other dog owners are nice and friendly, and all of the dogs always have a blast running around, roughhousing, and being derps.

Nice wide open space for the dogs to run around on. We decided to check out a new park. They have what looks to be like their own set up of an agility course. No water buckets for the dogs when I was out there unfortunately especially on a hot day. But over all nice park.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 64 mentions

“Small dog park and big dog park, they are separated but if your small pup enjoys playing with big dogs, they’re welcome to join.”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
