Confirmed from Crescent Park Promenade's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Crescent Park Promenade
“A lot of parking across the railroad track, accessible by a cool metal walking bridge (with a great view of the city and Algiers Point from the top)”
We find that the Crescent Park Promenade is one of the finest walking areas in New Orleans. Not only is it easily accessible and beautiful, it is also one of the lesser known attractions in the City. There are literally miles of smooth paved concrete trails though nicely landscaped and maintained areas.
Excellent park by the river. Interesting. Easy, flat hike. And if you walk west to east, you end up at Bacchanal. Great food, drink, and music.
Pretty park by the river. Nice trail, right by the river. You can see big ships, trains, squirrels, birds and flowers! A lot of parking across the railroad track, accessible by a cool metal walking bridge (with a great view of the city and Algiers Point from the top)
