Confirmed from Crestview Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly destination featuring picnic tables, basketball courts, playgrounds, a soccer field and trails.
What runners say about Crestview Park
“The grass is flat, well maintained and the entire park is absolutely amazing with views and trees.”
Great Park with 2 fun playgrounds and plenty of room to run, climb, and explore. Huge field with real grass that was nicely kept. Basketball courts and a nice path for biking and walking. A few picnic tables and bathrooms too. Wish I had this close by!
Kids playground, basketball court, running track, and soccer field are the main attractions at this smallish park. Very small parking lot, so will need to look for street parking whenever there’s a soccer game. Useful bathroom and a few picnic tables.
Excellent park for kids! I was told by the regulars that the wind picks up in the spring (the way the ravine captures the wind and funnels it into Crestview) but that just might be the only drawback.
Lots of people kids playground and large field where about 3 soccer practices were happening. There are nice picnic tables and little track that goes around the outside of the field. I walk from my house to the park with my 6 month old puppy who thinks this is the greatest place on earth.

“It’s over an hours drive to get here but the sting of leaving our house so early was getting to this beautiful park.”
“REALLY NICE PLAYGROUND AND FANTASTIC, LARGE FIELD - at the top of the San Carlos hills so can get breezy.”
“Clean bathrooms with multiple stalls, a family bathroom single stall, and public water fountains.”
“There’s only one basketball court but it’s pretty decent, but it could use some lights!”

- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
