Confirmed from Eaton Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This hilly 58-acre park offers hiking trails & sweeping views of the bay & surrounding areas.
What runners say about Eaton Park
“The trail is full of diverse plant and tree life with the beautiful smells of fall all around.”
“Easy walk and great vista.”
Such a great place to bring your pupper and achieve a solid hike distance with elevation gain. The trail is full of diverse plant and tree life with the beautiful smells of fall all around. The connection to nearby Big Canyon is very convenient and a great way to extend the distance without repeating scenery.
Great park between lots of different parts of suburban San Carlos. There are a few different trails, but the center point is a pair of two hilltops that have amazing views looking over the whole Bay Area.
Easy walk and great vista. Perfect for long walks with friends/family/pets. It's close to a residential area so walking towards it might feel bit wierd esp if you are alone but otherwise quite nice
Lots of trail intersections. Ran out of pee after the 3rd one. Great scents. Some stretches of exposed sunlight with no shade. Mostly soft dirt but some patches of rocks and pebbles that hurt my paws.
Trail conditions & character

“Some of the trails can be steep and muddy, but the vistas and the labyrinth at the top of the taller hill are worth it”
“It’s dog friendly and the top provides a pristine view of the bay.”
