Confirmed from Crevasse-Moraine Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Crevasse-Moraine Trailhead is an amazing place to get into nature and do some bird watching, biking, skiing, running, or even horseback riding. The trails are kept very well, and there are several options for you to choose from. In the winter, several trails are groomed for skiing.

Awesome !!!! Lots of different trails to take all well marked and trail length; Its conjoined with all of the matanuska/Kepler/Bradley lake trails so the system goes from the Palmer/wasilla hwy to the parks hwy. Nice wide trails for moutain bikes, horses, skiing in winter as well as for the average hiker.

★★★★☆ — Cary , Jun 2018

One of my favorite places to take the dogs for a walk. Always see people out here on horses, mountain biking, or just walking the trails. The trail system is massive and caters to a short hike or longer, all-day hikes.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 10 mentions

“Pretty nice, lots of people walking dogs, many off leash so your enjoyment may depend on how you personally feel about that.”
