Confirmed from Wasilla Creek Boardwalk Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Trail through the woods and marsh ending at a nice platform that overlooks mountains.
What runners say about Wasilla Creek Boardwalk Trail
“Great short walk with great views of the hay flats.”
“Nice spot for photos, easy walk with lovely views.”

Nice spot for photos, easy walk with lovely views. Don't rush to end, take it slowly.
Great little walk way into the flats. Things to remember #1 its not a dog walk its a bird breeding ground and they scare easy. If you walk and listen you can hear and see all 3 major alaska species of woodpeckers in the spring/summer along with ducks, many varieties of songbirds like sparrows, (fox, song, white crown,…
I rode my Onewheel down to the end. What a fantastic place to take a walk, ride, or picnic! Wetlands are so important for wildlife habitat, pollution detoxification, flood control, and for us! Let’s not destroy these places for more sprawl and parking lots!

“Trail was well maintained and there is a wheelchair accessible picnic table at the end where you can rest or snack before heading back.”
“My dog enjoyed it but some dogs may not be comfortable with the metal portion as I imagine it might not feel great on their paws without booties.”
“Short flat dirt at the beginning and then board walk the rest of the way to the end.”
