Confirmed from Cross Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Recreation on 54+ acres, with preserve area, playground, picnic tables & trail for biking & hiking.

What runners say about Cross Creek Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (37 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

Cross Creek Park is a peaceful little neighborhood park that’s perfect for a short stroll, relaxing under the trees, or accessing the Indian Creek Trail system. The connection to the trail makes it a great starting point for longer walks or bike rides.

★★★★★ — Nick , Aug 2025

Very nice scenic trail. However heavily used by speeding bicyclists, making for a challenging experience. During my short time on the trail, I was passed by at least 35 bikes. Some wizzing at about 25 MPH. One severely aggressive man shouted suddenly "on your right" when I was savoring a pastoral scene.

★★★★☆ — Stephen , Aug 2025

A nice little park for younger children. Well connected to the trail so can finish off a family walk with a quick play on the playground.

★★★★☆ — Jamie , Feb 2018

Walking trail was fun. Saw a deer. Playground is small. Kid's complained it was for babies but had fun any how.

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
