Confirmed from Forest Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Forest Creek Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (27 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“The wide, well-maintained, multi-use Indian Creek Trail cuts through the entirety of the park.”

Well paved, beautiful view of the creek from the trail and some nice apartments on the other side. Wild deer roam here. One of the more attractive and well maintained parts of the trail, with some nice informational boards exploring the local topography as well as some history on a few staple Kansas families,…

Very nice wooded park. The wide, well-maintained, multi-use Indian Creek Trail cuts through the entirety of the park. There are a few access points from surrounding neighborhoods. The trail also crosses over the Indian Creek three times.

★★★★★ — Nick , Aug 2025

Nice running area, the only thing here seems to be the trail, no shelters or playgrounds.
