Confirmed from Thomas S. Stoll Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public 79-acre park with 7 ball fields, a fishing lake, a playground & a scenic nature trail.
What runners say about Thomas S. Stoll Memorial Park
“In addition to several soccer fields, the park boasts a surprisingly extensive and well-maintained trail system for its size.”
“I was there in late April and the trees were beautiful.”
“The dog park is a pretty decent size, and the little pond area is super quiet and relaxing, with plenty of space to sit around it.”
This is one of my favorite parks to come to when I'm in the area. It has a massive fenced in dog park that you can walk through with your dog. Some of it is paved. Lots of areas to roam. Or they have paved trails outside of the dog park if you'd rather take a walk around the park.
Pros 1) Has off leash dog park 2) Has multiple playgrounds 3) Has large and nice walking trails
Stoll Park is a wonderful green space tucked into suburban Overland Park. It features a large off-leash dog park that's often lively and well-used by local dog owners. In addition to several soccer fields, the park boasts a surprisingly extensive and well-maintained trail system for its size.
A great little spot conveniently located near 119th and Quivira. The park offers a outstanding off leash dog park, two new paly ground areas for children, a small fishing pond, several shelters, soccer fields, and walking trials.
