Confirmed from Crosstown West Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Green space featuring picnic pavilions, a gazebo and a playground for kids.
What runners say about Crosstown West Park
“Been coming to this park for 15 years now, great walking trail, beautiful dock to feed ducks or just relax by the water, and a good picnic area.”
This is a fantastic park! My little ones loved seeing the baby ducklings and the turtles sunning themselves on partially submerged logs; I must admit, that is still fun for me as an adult too! The playground isn't too big, but big enough for a toddler and a preschooler to enjoy for a while!
Great small park with a paved trail. It has a nice gazebo with plenty seats for a group of 24 and a grill.
It's very beautiful woth a lot of animals on the water. It was nice walking there.
A nice park with a lake and walking trail tucked away from its bustling surroundings. It has a play structure, and a nice dock that juts out into the water and attaches to covered seating area. The walking trail around the lake is a little under a mile long.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
