Today the temperature was nicer than usual so I decided to take advantage of the great weather by visiting this park for the 1st time. To start there's an entrance fee for non residents/pass holders of $10, however the fees start in May. So i entered for free which was a plus.
Review for Cotton Point Park: Cotton Point Park is a truly beautiful and peaceful place. The natural views are stunning, especially with the vibrant colors that make the whole area feel like it’s glowing — everything looks wonderfully “orangied” during sunset and fall!
This is an amazing park. Even if you are not local you can enjoy a whole day here. How? First of all it has a dedicated area for an event for family friends and groups. Second, if you like hiking, birdwatching etc this place has miles of tracking trails. Third, its dedicated RV and tent camping area is amazing.
Love walking through the campgrounds of this park with the falling leaves “snowing” around us. Walking the isthmus surrounded by trees and the Hudson on both sides. Sandy, private beaches and a public walk by the water. Dogs allowed!
