Confirmed from Crystal Lake West's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a boat ramp, picnic areas, walking paths, and fishing.
What runners say about Crystal Lake West
“We had a lot of fun today on the lake The public access was well maintained, and the picnic island was a pretty cool spot!”
“October with nice weather and leaves changing, was gorgeous!”
“I spent hours just walking around and taking in the views, and everything was so peaceful and well-maintained.”
This park is more of a boat launch and trail start. There is a porta potty in the parking lot, which is very convenient. Some people fish off of the side of the boat launch. It gets quite busy in the spring and summer. The nearby trail isn't super long, but it's peaceful, and great for a quick, easy walk!
Now view of Buck Hill. I had a stroke in December, so, for my outing, my honey Parked us there last week, so I could watch the skiers. It was 40° out, and sunny. Lovely place to park!
Came to walk the trails and was not disappointed. October with nice weather and leaves changing, was gorgeous!
Crystal Lake West Park is a quiet little Park most residents of Burnsville don't even know about. it's located on the service road right across from Buck Hill off of 35W between Crystal Lake Road and County Road 46.
