Confirmed from Cullen Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Cullen Park
“It’s usually quiet, well maintained, and a good place to relax and enjoy the outdoors”
“We didn't see any wildlife at the section we were at but there were definitely beautiful butterflies all around us.”
“Cullen Park is a large and peaceful park with plenty of open space to enjoy.”
Very nice park with a 3-mile out-and-back trail(6 miles total). Completely flat and paved, so it's a very easy hike. There are several restrooms, which are fine, and fountains(though no filter or bottle refill specific fountains). It has a woodland feel, but it's quite close to highway road noise.
Love this park. Family and pet friendly (dogs must be on leash). Multiple areas to walk. There's a track field as well as a walking park with picnic tables. Small water park (cute) area. Also, multiple soccer and baseball fields. Great place to start/end your day. We walk the park almost daily.
I love this park! From Saums to Highway 6 is roughly 7 miles there and back. It’s perfect for jogging and walking. You can extend the trail by walking the wooded trails at the beginning of the park before hitting the long stretch.
My husband and I enjoyed this park very much. We decided to try out the walking trails on a whim and we really liked it. This park is huge and we only saw one section of it. We didn't see any wildlife at the section we were at but there were definitely beautiful butterflies all around us.
