Confirmed from Terry Hershey Hike Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Landscaped open space with a pond for fishing & kayaking, a playground & biking trails.

It’s a nice place for hiking 🥾 although the path is not always clean, it’s good enough to enjoy a bit of nature in Houston!! A lot of shades and nice walking although the weather is hot. Such a nice place for bike riding and trail riding! Nice and clean with friendly faces!
Great park with scenic hiking amd bike trails. The bayou runs the length of the park with lots of wildlife. I've only seen rabbits, a number of cranes, and squirrels but its nice to see them out and about. If you're into cycling, the trail has a number of nice hills to give you a good workout.
Had a nice walk. Hoping to see some blue bonnets but we weren't sure about the exact spot nor if they were blooming right now, so we'll try again soon.
