Excellent Park with a huge field and access to the Guadalupe River. It is limited on parking that is near the water, so if you don't have mobility issues please unload and then park your car in the further away lot. Think about others.
Go in the mornings. Hopefully you have a parking pass 😬 I am able to walk over from my house in about 10 minutes... the perks of being a local. But this is a wonderful place to be when there's not many people around.
Cypress bend Park is a great little find, especially with the other parks around it. The walking trail is very nice with the huge trees and the river is shallow and you can wade in it, float in it, or kayak. It has a really big open field for playing in playground and bathrooms.
Family friendly park with a playground, restrooms and water access for swimming, fishing and launching small personal watercraft. There’s a rocky little beach area that is shallow and great for the little ones. Life vests are also provided. There is a charge of $20 per vehicle.
