Love Fischer park. My daughter likes to play in the sand pit and the playground. I love to take walks around the hiking trail that goes around the little lake. We haven't played at the splash pad yet, but it looks really cool.
I visited this lovely well kept park on Thursday, and enjoyed it so much! There are playscapes, pavilions, and splash pads in a part of the park, but I wanted to visit the two ponds. The park is open daily from 6 AM to 12 AM. It would be best to check with the office, should that schedule change.
A great park. There are nature trails, numerous pavilions that people can rent, a couple of playgrounds for kids of different ages and abilities, swings, and a splash pad. Beautiful trees and nature features. With numerous sidewalks, this place is ver accessible for people using wheelchairs.
Lots of tables for eating. Our kiddos had a lot of fun in the playgrounds and in the Dino Dig area. Plenty of space to walk around, there was ample parking, and it was cool to see the city on top of the hill. My only complaint was that the vending machine wasn't operating when we visited.
