Confirmed from Panther Canyon Nature Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

I struggled to find The trail head. To access the trail park near the most northern part of Landa Park. You will access the trail right off of Landa Park Drive. It looks like you are about to walk out of the park but when you are walking up the hill the trail head entrance is to the left.

At the start you have two paths options. The easy trail is Canyon trail. The second option is Rim trail, this path is more challenging and not recommended if you don’t have proper hiking shoes and experience. This trail has more of an incline and has a steep drop off to one side, so one needs to be very careful.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
