Confirmed from D.W. Field Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Massive, 650-acre park featuring ponds & lakes, tranquil walking paths & wooded areas.
What runners say about D.W. Field Park
“As long as we as people keep it clean and respect each other & the beautiful nature that it offers.”
This is a wonderful park to get away from the city and immerse yourself in nature. The trees are vibrant, the birds are singing and the ponds glisten (given the sun is shining). Everybody is respectful and the walking trail is pretty much flat. What I love most about this park is the wildlife and the water.
Driving through Brockton today, I passed DW Field Park. I entered the park and it was a beautiful paved drive through some varied pine and leaf trees. Beautiful winding Road with a large on their parking spaces along the road. There are several side trails.
It got all you need. Have views of water and hill top views, walking paths, off road paths, hidden spots to explore, and it goes in a circle with multiple short cut to adjust how much you would like to travel. And it’s possible to camp here or have a lil woods cook out
All I have to say is absolutely beautiful park!!! No matter if you walk, jog or run you will not be disappointed.
