Confirmed from Dallas City Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Fenced-in dog park, featuring separate areas for small and large dogs plus playground equipment.
What runners say about Dallas City Park
“Me and my wife’s dog love this park, very clean and has water fountains and sitting areas”
“I'm so happy :) The dog park Area looks new and it not quiet finished but all fenced in so dogs can run around.”
Dog park is awesome! Tons of room to run around. Small and large dog sides. There's a walking path around both enclosures. A few agility pieces for dogs, plenty of water to drink and a fountain to play in! Seems well maintained. Portapotty for a restroom. Kids playground area, picnic tables.
I've lived in dallas over 2yrs, the whole time driving to kennesaw to get to a dog park. This park has a dog park! What? I'm so happy :) The dog park Area looks new and it not quiet finished but all fenced in so dogs can run around. Just no water fountains or lights yet.
I love to watch my dog run with the big dogs. Play with the little dogs jump bark and drink water too!
Nice dog park. Large open running spaces for the dogs with play obstacles. Very well maintained.

- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
