Confirmed from White Oak Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about White Oak Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (1,167 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 5 mentions

“Kitchen area was functional w/ plenty of counter space, bathrooms were clean, on-site staff during event, and price is very reasonable.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 11 mentions

“The pond in the very back was low, but beautiful, and people were fishing.”

Great paved walking trail, about 2 miles in length. Love they have 19 fitness stations along the walking trail. The trail is wide and varies in elevation so it switches things up. Saw the park has disk golf, 2 playgrounds, volleyball courts, and 3 ponds.

★★★★★ — Amy , Nov 2020

Outstanding walking trails, ample safe parking, playgrounds, party pavilions, lake fishing and 18 hole disc golf course! The wide, paved, well maintained trail outlines the majority of the park parameter. I walked it 6 times and averaged a little of 2 miles per loop.

★★★★★ — Andy , Aug 2024

This is a nice park in the community that has a little but of everything. Little ponds with ducks, small creek, a nice size nature trail, two playgrounds for children and grills for cooking out.

★★★★★ — Sandra , Aug 2022

Very nice and open park with a paved walking trail. A lot of folks out walking and running on nice days. There is also a duck pond that attracts sandwich bread from all over ; ) Not a ton in the way of extras but certainly a good place to let the dogs play and enjoy open sky and fresh air in the wide open field at the…

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
