Confirmed from Damon Lane County Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Casual city park with meandering trails for walking and running as well as for dogs.
What runners say about Damon Lane County Park
“Beautiful running trail, good if you're looking for a relatively short, hilly run.”
“It is nice and peaceful and there's some good scenery.”
“Great short tail, good for a quick dog walk, or maybe a short run.”
Tucked away in a residential area is this awesome little 1 mile loop. The rain from yesterday morning made just enough water for the small creek area to have a relaxing ambience. There’s also trails that lead up a small mountain so there’s plenty to find over several trips. Looking forward to our next visit!
I walk here almost every morning. It is nice and peaceful and there's some good scenery. However there is one issue that I've been noticing. More than half the people that walk their dogs here don't have their dogs on a leash.
This park is more than and open space than an actual park, given it does not offer playground equipment, restrooms, and a nice green field, but it's cool to go for a walk and check out the seasonal stream that runs through it. I like to walk thru it on my morning walks from time to time.
Great short tail, good for a quick dog walk, or maybe a short run. Would be a 5 star, but the trail is just kinda short, but if you live in the area, I totally recommend it.
