Confirmed from Darrow Road Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Darrow Road Park
“Don't expect to walk super far or be able to do very much at the park, but it's a beautiful little area.”
Nice walking park with a good shaded loop. I took my cat on a leash and he loved walking in the tall grass next to the trails. The end of the loop is not shaded and it is not a very long walk but it seems to serve its purpose.
Two words: hidden gem. This park is easy to miss cruising down 91 (Darrow Rd.) but it is worth the hike I think. The loop trail goes through both meadow and woodlands, and one can see wildlife like butterflies and rabbits as well as stunning flowers and unique mushrooms along the path; I was skeptical just by looking…
It's a great park for a small park. Don't expect to walk super far or be able to do very much at the park, but it's a beautiful little area. I love bringing my dog here or just going for a short walk through the woods. It is a little odd when you realize you're walking near people's backyards.
It's a nice little park for a walk or you could play frisbee. Maybe 10 parking spots, so it's never crowded.

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
