Confirmed from Trumbull Woods Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Trumbull Woods Park
Nice park with trails throughout. There once was an old chimney from I believe a farmhouse many, many years ago but recently a tree fell onto it.
A beautiful park but all that is heard is road noise from I480. The main trail is mowed and wide open. The loop trail marked with blue blazes has a few trees across the path but is otherwise an easy trail.
Very nice park and trail but this trail is not for anyone with mobility issues. It is a dirt path up and down a large hill, there are roots and several large downed trees on the path.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
