Confirmed from Cascade Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Clean park with kid-friendly hiking trails leading to waterfalls and playgrounds.
What runners say about Cascade Park
“The playground was fun for all, the shelter was clean & easy to decorate.”
“Beautiful park and if you walk the trail into the woods, you might see a couple small waterfalls.”
“Includes a climbing wall, multiple swing sets for kids off all ages, and a three story play fort.”
I love Cascade Park in Hudson Ohio. it is not a place you just bump into by accident. Actually if you do not know the area, you probably don’t look for a park here, and it is at the end of a infrequent neighborhood. So you Have to want to be here to drive and arrive in the parking lot.
Lovely park for all ages. Large play area for the bigger kiddo's and a smaller one for toddlers. There's a pavilion with picnic tables which would be great for parties or gatherings. Next time we'll bring charcoal and cookout on the grilling grids provided.
One of the best! It's a very unique play station. My kids love the long slides. The feature of being away from the street protects little kids who might dash into traffic. The trails inside the park are very beautiful. They have different equipment every 1/8 mile for adults to do some exercise.
This would be a 5 star park if there was a sink to wash hands after going to the bathroom or a changing table to change a diaper. It's not great to have to change a diaper on a table where people eat.
Trail conditions & character
“Walking there , you can also see some little waterfalls, Bridges, peek over to the golf course, There’s also access at the far end to another neighborhood.”
“This would be a 5 star park if there was a sink to wash hands after going to the bathroom or a changing table to change a diaper.”
“Basketball hoops and baseball field are situated on the other side of the parking lot.”
