Confirmed from Dartts Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Riverside park featuring a playground, ball field, tennis and basketball courts, trails, and picnic areas.
What runners say about Dartts Park
“Great park, beautiful and clean with plenty of space without really worrying of it becoming overcrowding, the basketball court is definitely a bonus.”

“I love how this park is in the middle of all these houses but when you're at the park it's still very peaceful and quiet”
Beautiful park within Owatonna. There are some fun bridges across a river for watching the water or taking nature walks. The playground equipment is fun for kids of all ages. We've played here several times and always been happy!
Super spacious park with up-to-date amenities throughout. Safe, clean and there’s a little something for everyone. Kids loved the playground and puttering around in the low riverbed. Parents loved the bike path and ample benches. Just show up, take a deep breath and enjoy!
Front and back parking. Has a base ball field, and a park. Have a whole bunch of benches for family to eat and open fields for dogs and children to play in. Two bridges, and a trail.
Beautiful Park in the middle of Owatonna close to downtown, the small stream and river running through the park. Very picturesque and Serene. Baseball fields, places to picnic.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
