Confirmed from Manthey Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a playground, ball courts and a zip line.
What runners say about Manthey Park
“Great park, clean restrooms with soft toilet paper(rare for public parks).”
“A park for all ages and abilities!”
Had a brief stop during the Labor Day road trip. Playground was nice for kids and shelters good for eating our cold lunch. What’s beyond was a nice walking trail towards the end of the field and wandering back through some quiet streams to a secret tunnel back to play ground
Adorable little play house that my two year old thought was amazing. This playground had equipment that kids of many ages and skill levels could enjoy. It seemed new. The base was a soft rubber material that was almost squishy. Easy to navigate my wagon. The equipment is also spaced out with plenty of running room.
Fun entertainment for a kids park! As an adult that likes to run through the grass barefoot, I appreciate the fact that this park is one of the cleanest, & for any parent who has rough kids, this park can handle it!
Trail conditions & character

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
